THE KEESHOND CLUB OPEN SHOW 

I would like to thank the club for the invitation to judge, the hospitality and atmosphere was very nice and I thoroughly enjoyed my day.  Overall the quality was of a high standard and presentation and condition of all exhibits the only point I would like to make is heads in a few were for me tending to look like an Elkhound so I hope this does not become a trend.

Puppy Dog

1^st Matthews Sheldon’s Stemming Sage Promising you dog with a good head and eye, correct mouth and ear carriage.  Well placed shoulder with correct angles good body shape has well made quarters moved soundly with a good side action.BPD

Junior Dog

1^st Matthew’s Szaryk Dutch Bargemaster With Valindale My star of the dogs, teaming with quality and he loves to show off. Maculine head without being course lovely expression with correct eye and good mouth. Correct front angles with a good body his quarters are well made so he has good balanced and correct proportions moves soundly and with purpose BD & RBIS

Special Yearling Dog

1^st Brunt’s Zandvoort Mr Bond Another quality young dog lovely head and expression with correct eye shape, well placed ears, good front and rear angles with well made body sound movement.

Post Graduate Dog

1st Christopher’s Neradmik Canache At Bisukees Very nice young male lovely head and expression well made throughout correct shoulders good body shape and well made quarters sound movement with a good side action RBB

2^nd Bowden-Roche & Bowden’s Bargeway Point Blank Good head and expression and mouth. Well placed ears with nice balance throughtout, correct body sound away and towards I felt he couldn’t match the winner on side action.

Limit Dog

1^st Miles Neradmik Kiss Chase With Lekkerbek Good head and expression with correct mouth and eye, good shoulders with a well made body with nice quarters which he use to move soundly good side action.

2^nd. Brunt’s Zandvoort Purrsonal Life Lovely expression correct eye shape and ear carriage, would like a slightly better shoulder, good body with well made quarters sound movement with a good side action.

3^rd Newman’s Leazehond Lightning Bolt Correct head and expression the bite is correct, shoulders could be better, well made quarters with sound movment.

Open Dog

1^st  Hickson’s Kichigai’s Only The Lonely A young dog that still needs to mature good head and expression with correct eye shape and good mouth, he shows good balanced throughout with good sound movement.

2^nd Pattison’s Zandvoort Getting Purrsonal For Eastkees Nice head and expression front has good angles well made quarters sound movment.

3^rd Bennett’s Byquy Rich Gent well put together masculine dog, correct head and eye shape good front angles nice body would like a better angle on the quarters moved soundly.

Veteran Dog

1^st Brunt’s Ch Zandvoort Dream Machine, Looking well for his 10 years correct head and expression good shoulders with a well made body well muscled quarters he certainly can still move and was pleased to award him BVIS

2^nd Passmore’s Am Gr Ch Trumpets It’s Good To Be King (Imp USA) Another 10 years old who still shows lovely balance throughtout good head and expression moved out and sound.

3^rd Bennett’s Zandvoort Dream Stone 7 years good head and expression good angles fore and aft with good body shape moved with sound positive movement,

1^st Hill’s Plymkees Cood Dude Ch CM Lovely head and expression good neck and shoulders correct body with well muscled quarters he is sound in both directions and covers the ground in profile.

1^st Newman’s Leazehond Prairie Flower A promising young bitch with a lovely feminine head with correct eye, well placed shoulders with a nice body and correct quarters sound in both directions with a positive side action.

2^nd Henman’s Foxifayre Princess Yski Another very nice youngster that just would not settle, well made throughout with lovely expression good angles and sound.

1^st Saunder’s Liefkees Adina What a star she was today feminine head with correct eye shape and ear carriage. Correct shoulder placement nicely shaped body with good quarters, moved out in profile and sound in both directions challenge hard but was pleased to award her BBP/BPIS/RBB one for the future.

2^nd Newman’s Wolfswinkel Maria Ogren At Leazehond Nice young bitch with lovely head and expression good bone and feet good shoulders and body with well made quarters sound movement.

Junior Bitch

1^st White’s Neramik Vanilla Ice Morvania Well caught my eye immediately and was not disappointed on my inspection. Gorgeous feminine head with correct bite eye shape and ear carriage. Correctly placed shoulders with nice spring of rib then well made quarters with sound movement with all this her side action was a joy to see which won her BB & BIS

2^nd Bowden-Roche & Bowden’s Bargeway Virtual Angel Quality bitch lovely head and expression well angle front with good body shape good quarters sound in movement.

3^rd Pattison’s Eastkees Sparkling Diamond A little longer in muzzle than I like nonetheless lovely expression with good balance and sound movement.

Special Yearling Bitch

1^st Brunt’s Zandvoort Ursula Andress Beautiful feminine head, good shoulder placement and well made body, quarters are well made with strong sound movement with a good side action.

Novice Bitch

1^st Newman’s Leazehond Prairie Flower

2^nd Bowden-Roche & Bowden’s Bargeway Sweet Revenge Lovely head with a feminine expression. Good shoulders and body with good quarters with sound movement but she would insist in sitting down.

Post Graduate Bitch

1^st Wilkin’s Whizzkees Ebony Slipper Very feminine head and expression, good shoulders with a nice body shape correct anglulation with sound movement with a good side acton.

2^nd Bate’s Kichigai Indiana Wants Me A lovely feminine bitch good balance both in front and rear, good body shape sound movement with a steady side action.

3^rd. Waller’s Bargeway That’s My Girl A well balanced bitch feminine head, good angles fore and aft with sound movement good side action just starting to mature.

1^st Sharp-Bale’s Neradmik Grace Kelly A quality bitch with a feminine head and expression, good shoulders with good spring of rib correct bone and substance, well made quarters with sound movement with a good side action.

1^st Gregory’s Ch Amikirs Fabulicious Time JW Nicely made bitch with good balance both in stance and keeps it in her sound movement covers the ground just preferred the overall balance of my Best bitch and Reserve best bitch.

Veteran Bitch

1^st Liefkees Annabell A lovely head and expression slightly bigger than I would like but she is well balanced with good angles both front and rear well made body moved soundly and covered the ground.

2^nd. Harding’s Amikirs Amour Good type of bitch with a feminine head and expression, good balance throughout with sound positive movement.

3^rd Passmore’s Torrikees With Attitude Lovely type of bitch good head and expression well balanced with sound movement.

Class A Special Yearling (2) Super class

1^st Saunders Liefkees Adina. 10 month old bitch of good size. Excellent shape in profile with a short compact body. Lovely fox like head with beautiful ear shape and size. Good eye shape and colour. Correct spectacle look. Correct scissor Bite. Well off for bone. Straight front leading to cat like feet. Excellent top line and tail set. Good clean movement on the mats. Well handled. Correct markings and good harsh coat condition. A very promising puppy who can only get even better with maturity.

2^nd Brunt’s Zanvoort Ursula Andress. 15 month old Bitch. Good shape in profile. Well sloped shoulders leading to a correct front and tight feet. Very pretty head with correct spectacles. Good eye shape and colour. Good bite. Excellent ear shape and size. Good top line and tail set. Good clean movement on the mats. Well handled. Shown in good coat condition and markings. Lots to like and unlucky to meet 1 on top form.

Class B Special Limit (2)

1^st Hickson’s Kichigai’s Lilac Wine. 2 year Old bitch. Excellent short compact body. A little on the small size. Makes a super shape stood and on the move. Excellent top line and tail set. Very appealing fox like head. Excellent eye shape and colour. Beautiful Ivy leaf shaped ears which are correct in both size and set. Good bite. Excellent markings and harsh coat. Excellent Front and side gait. Moved slightly close behind. Well-handled and shown in excellent physical condition. A Quality bitch.

2^nd Miles Neradmik Kiss Chase with Lekkerbek. 2 year old male. A little on the large side but makes a good shape stood. Strong head with a good eye shape and colour. Good ear set and shape. Good strong front and rear. Good bite. Nice tight cat feet. Excellent tail set. Sadly blowing his coat on the day. Well handled.

Class C Special Open (8)

1^st Brunt’s Zandvoort Purrsonal Life (ai). 2 year old Confident Male. Super shape stood with a short compact body. Excellent top line and tail set. Beautiful fox like head with excellent muzzle length and width. Correct scissor bite. Well off for bone and a good strong front which showed on the move. Excellent ear set and shape. Excellent physical and coat condition. Correct Keeshond markings. Clean, brisk movement always. Quality male who I’m sure will do well. Well handled.

2^nd Hickson’s Kichigai’s Only The Lonley. 2 year Male. Again a quality male. Excellent shape both stood and on the move. Excellent top line and tail set. Well off for bone. Well sloped shoulders. Typical masculine head without being overdone. Good ear shape and set. Good eye colour. Good bite and muzzle length. Needs to settle in front movement. Strong muscled hind legs. Excellent coat condition. Lots to like.

3^rd Sharp-Bales Neradmik Grace Kelly. 18 months old Bitch. Good shape in profile. Excellent tail set and top line. Very pretty head with excellent eye shape and colour. Would like a slightly longer neck. Good ear set and carriage. Shown in excellent physical condition. Just needs to settle on the move. Lots to like and she just needs to mature. Well handled.
